Location: Manor Park, Runcorn (WA7)
Salary: £28,000- £30,000 (DOE)
Shifts: Monday- Thursday 08:30- 17:15, Fridays 08:30- 16:00
Contract Type: Temp- perm
Our client is a manufacturing company with a global leading position in the development and
production of controls and drives for industrial, commercial, and domestic applications. They are a leading UK supplier of motors and controls for varied market sectors.
Reporting to the Internal Sales Team Leader, you will be the first point of contact for their customers for each aspect of the sales process from outbound calls, quotations, and processing orders through to after sales and customer service.
As Internal Sales your duties will be: -
" Lead Generation & Nurturing: Research potential customers, initiate contact through cold calls and email follow ups, and proactively follow up on all enquiries. Make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to develop sales opportunities.
" Customer Relationship Management: Build rapport with prospects and existing customers alike, understand their needs, and develop lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
" Cross-selling and upselling: Promote and upsell our full range of products and services at every opportunity.
" Sales & Product Knowledge: Explain product features and benefits, provide information, resolve customer concerns, and keep up to date on competitor offers.
" Quoting & Negotiation: Generate and send quotations and negotiate sales terms.
" Sales Operations: Maintain and update a customer database, track sales activities using our internal platform and follow up on outstanding quotes and opportunities.
" Collaboration: Liaise with other departments, such as technical support, despatch, and marketing, to provide a seamless customer experience and to facilitate swift responses to the customer in regards to pricing, stock availability and lead times.
" Customer focus: Proactively promote our products and services to our market sector. Responding to enquiries swiftly is vital to ensure that the customer is front and centre in your desire to resolve issues.
The successful Internal Sales will have the following skills: -
" Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to build strong relationships.
" Sales & Persuasion Skills: The ability to effectively present products, influence customer decisions, and close sales.
" Customer Service Skills: A strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to meet client needs.
" Research Skills: Ability to find and learn about new leads and potential clients using online tools and other resources.
" Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of Sage 200, SAP, MS Word, Excel, plus all Google equivalents.
" Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and organizational skills.
