About the RoleAre you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a real difference in the student experience?

Our client is seeking a proactive, customer-focused Student Hub Advisor to join our dynamic Student Entitlement team. You will be the first point of contact for students, providing expert information, advice, and guidance in our Student Hub.

You will support learners in accessing a wide range of college services, including course information, financial support, enrolment, and general student engagement. Your role will be vital in ensuring students are well-informed, well-supported, and fully engaged with their studies and college life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-line service to all students and visitors.

  • Provide accurate information on college courses, enrolment procedures, funding options, and support services.

  • Promote college services, increasing student participation and engagement.

  • Ensure learners are correctly enrolled and meet all funding eligibility criteria for both 16-18 and adult education programmes.

  • Administer student financial support in line with college policy and audit requirements.

  • Support college events such as open days, enrolments, and welcome weeks.

Person SpecificationEssential Qualifications & Skills
  • Literacy and Numeracy at Level 2 or above

  • Proven customer service experience, ideally in a front-facing role

  • Knowledge of current educational funding (16-18 and adult learners)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow audit-compliant processes

  • Confident IT user – MS Office, student record systems (e.g., ProMonitor, CELCAT, QL)

  • Able to handle sensitive or complex queries with professionalism and discretion

Desirable
  • Qualification in Advice & Guidance or equivalent

  • Experience working in a college or educational environment

  • Experience using digital platforms to provide information and support
