Job Specification: Temporary Accounts Assistant
Overview:
Our client is recruiting a Temporary Accounts Assistant to support the finance team during the migration to a new accounting system. This is a challenging role that requires a methodical thinker with experience working with complex or difficult computer systems. The position is based in Bromsgrove and pays £14 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with data migration between accounting systems
Carry out account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Support general bookkeeping and financial administration
Maintain accurate and organised financial records
Work closely with the finance team to ensure a smooth system transition

Requirements:

Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
Methodical approach with strong attention to detail
Confidence working with challenging or unfamiliar computer systems
Good understanding of basic accounting processes
Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting software is beneficial
Ability to adapt and work efficiently during periods of change
