Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to design and deliver high-quality electrical building services. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated, sustainable solutions, working on projects that make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities

Design electrical building services systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and fire alarms.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations using AutoCAD and Revit.
Work closely with mechanical and public health engineers to develop integrated MEP solutions.
Conduct site surveys and inspections to inform design decisions.
Liaise with clients and project teams, providing expert technical advice.
Ensure compliance with UK electrical standards, including BS 7671 and CIBSE guidance.
Support sustainable and energy-efficient design initiatives.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.

What We’re Looking For

Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical building services design within consultancy or similar sectors.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is advantageous.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical design principles and UK regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for sustainable design and innovation.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality delivery.
