We have a fantastic opportunity for a recently Graduated Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineer to work in the field of temporary works design, joining our client in Bristol on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client is a privately-owned scaffold and temporary works company that provide expert solutions within the Construction, Civil Engineering and Rail sectors. The business has enjoyed great success and are proud to say that 80% of their work is based on repeat business or referrals. They have provided recent design and installation for companies such as Highways England, Network Rail, Skanska and Balfour Beatty to name a few.

 

Projects are major support and propping structures, each unique in its own right. These are not you ordinary designs.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Gain understanding of UK scaffolding regulations

·        Communicating with stakeholders

·        Working directly with clients to develop bespoke scaffolding solutions

·        Developing skills with AutoCAD and Revit

·        Gaining understanding of health and safety. Working from height regulations, construction regulations

·        Structural analysis and load calculations

·        Interpreting technical drawings and specifications

·        Learning temporary works and construction methods

You will be entering in a project management role whilst under the mentorship and guidance of the operations manager
