📅 Full-time, fixed-term until June 2026 (37 hours per week)

About the Role

We’re recruiting for a Tenancy Sustainment Worker to support adults and families facing a range of challenges, including mental ill health, substance misuse, and complex life circumstances. This role is about empowering people to maintain their tenancies, improve wellbeing, and build the confidence and skills needed to live independently.

No two days will be the same — you’ll be working in the community, helping customers overcome barriers, and linking them with the right support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tenancy support including budgeting advice, benefits guidance, and housing management.
  • Promote health and wellbeing by encouraging positive lifestyle choices and access to healthcare services.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain safe environments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, housing management teams, and external agencies to deliver joined-up support.
  • Help customers build independence through signposting, skills development, and encouragement.
About You

We’re looking for someone with:
  • Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds with housing-related needs.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessing, and health & safety.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage challenging behaviour.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Confidence working independently as well as part of a team.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable: NVQ 3 in a relevant field or a housing qualification (or willingness to work towards one).

What’s on Offer
  • Salary from £25,659 – £28,510 per annum.
  • A full-time, fixed-term role until June 2026.
  • Supportive team environment with opportunities to build your skills and professional experience.
  • A chance to make a direct difference in your community by helping people sustain safe, stable housing.
🔒 An enhanced DBS check is required. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship).
