Job Description
This role suits an MEP Revit Technician who is technically strong in Revit, detail-focused, and motivated by delivering coordinated building services models across the full project lifecycle.
The RoleAs an MEP Revit Technician, you will play a key role in the production and coordination of BIM models and technical information, supporting design teams from concept through to construction and handover. You will be involved in both new-build and refurbishment schemes, working on projects of varying scale and complexity.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and manage detailed 3D MEP Revit models
- Produce coordinated drawings, schedules, and technical information for planning, tender, and construction stages
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver integrated design solutions
- Carry out clash detection, model checks, and ensure compliance with BIM standards and project requirements
- Maintain and develop Revit families, templates, and digital content libraries
- Support the design process from early concept through to project completion
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit within a building services or design environment
- Previous experience working in an architectural, engineering, or MEP consultancy setting
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in modelling and technical output
- Solid understanding of BIM processes, standards, and workflows
- Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Exposure to healthcare, education, commercial, or large-scale residential projects
- Awareness of sustainable design and low-carbon building principles
- Experience using additional BIM or digital design tools
- Collaborative, multi-disciplinary studio working across architecture, structure, and building services
- Strong focus on BIM, digital design, and emerging technologies such as digital twins
