Production Operative

We are actively recruiting for Production Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis on behalf of our client based on Houghton Le Spring.

They are a well know food production company who are rapidly expanding. To strengthen their dedicated team, they are seeking full-time Production Workers to start as soon as possible.

Tasks

• Producing marinades/spices according to recipes, taking production instructions into account.
• Monitoring of production and hygiene standards in the work area.
• Cleaning of machinery and production hall areas during production.
• Active support for suggestions for improvement.

Experience required:

• Professional experience in production.
• Training as a cook, baker, or similar is advantageous but not required.
• Willingness to work three shifts (early/late/night shifts as required).
• Teamwork skills, reliability, and flexibility.
• Quality awareness and some technical understanding.
• Good written and spoken English.

Hourly rate: Between £12.21 & £15.41 depending on shifts worked (increasing after 12 week training period is completed)
