Private Client Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive (2+ years PQE)
Location: Somerset - Hybrid working available
Full-Time | Permanent

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality legal support to individuals and families? Do you want to make a lasting impact by helping clients navigate some of life’s most important decisions? We're looking for a talented Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 2 years PQE to join a growing and client-focused legal team.

About the Role:
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering tailored legal services across a broad range of private client matters. You’ll manage your own caseload, contribute to the development of the department, and support junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on a variety of private client matters including Wills, Trusts, LPAs, and estate administration.
  • Manage a full caseload from instruction through to completion.
  • Maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, offering clear and practical legal advice.
  • Supervise and mentor junior colleagues and support staff.
  • Contribute to the growth of the department through business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other teams to maximise cross-referral opportunities.
  • Ensure high standards of client care and financial management.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 2+ years’ experience in Private Client law.
  • Skilled in handling a range of matters including Wills, Probate, Trusts, and LPAs.
  • Confident in managing client relationships with empathy, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Capable of supervising junior staff and contributing to team development.
  • Commercially aware with a strong understanding of financial control and billing.
  • Proactive in business development and keen to contribute to the growth of the firm.
