OVERVIEW:
•Responsibilities include leading a team of in house presenting officers, coordinating assignments for external advocates, and ensuring high quality representation during statutory committee hearings
•This role is primarily managerial, but also involves direct advocacy in complex cases, including occasional appearances in the High Court
•The organisation is looking for a qualified barrister or solicitor with at least five years’ PQE
•The ideal candidate will have experience in professional regulation or a regulatory environment
•A proven track record in tribunal advocacy and interpreting complex legislation, case law, and guidance
•Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills are essential, with experience in high-profile cases preferred
•This is a hybrid role: 1–2 days in the office, the rest remote
