Graduate Elec Design Engineer

The client is an established and successful manufacturer test machinery and equipment. Due to growth and success they are seeking to recruit a Graduate / Junior Electrical Design Engineer for their operations in Worcester.

Salary - £24,000 to £30,000 per annum.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday on Days.
The main responsibility of the Electrical Design Engineer is to produce electrical schematic / plans to a high standard.

Responsibilities and duties are as follows;

• Creation of drawings and creation of electrical schematic / layouts.
• Use ERP to build BOM's and release work orders from CAD drawings.
• Support the engineering department with drawings, modelling and administration work.
• Completion of ECR's and updates to systems.
• Shadowing of senior engineers in meetings.

Experience and qualifications for the role are as follows;

• Good understanding of CAD software (preferably Eplan).
• Some experience in a electrical technical discipline or degree qualified.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Good understanding of basic engineering principles.
• High attention to detail.
• Development of design concepts and schematics.
• Technical report writing skills.
• Good team player and a "can do" attitude.

The company are based in Worcester so is commutable from Kidderminster, Droitwich, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Evesham, Tewkesbury.
