My client is seeking an Estimation Administrator to join their office-based team and play a key role in supporting the quotation and tendering process for cutting-edge lighting control systems. As an Estimation Administrator, you will…Be at the heart of the quoting process preparing tenders, managing enquiries, and ensuring every detail is technically sound and aligned with client specifications. You’ll work closely with sales, technical, and project teams to keep things moving and deliver a seamless experience from enquiry to handover.

About you

You’ll thrive in this role if you:
  • Have strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail
  • Can manage multiple tasks and deadlines with confidence
  • Are comfortable working independently and taking ownership
  • Have a technical qualification or aptitude that helps you understand product applications
  • Are proficient with estimating software, spreadsheets, and documentation tools
  • Understand the commercial construction process and can read technical drawings and schematics
  • Have experience in estimating or a relevant qualification (HND or degree in Engineering, Accounting, or similar)
What you’ll be doing
  • Preparing and issuing quotations in line with specifications and drawings
  • Managing the quotations inbox and tracking tender status
  • Producing technical submissions and indicative schematics
  • Maintaining the EMS system and ensuring project data is up to date
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop strategies for enquiries
  • Attending weekly estimating meetings and project handovers
  • Supporting the transition from sales order to project delivery
