Pertemps are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to start work on behalf of a world-leading distribution company in Basingstoke. This is a temporary to permanent contract you will temp for 12 weeks then be offered a permanent contact performance dependant. 

More about the role:
- £17.02 per hour standard rate.
- 5 shifts a week, with guaranteed paid minimum of 9 hours per shift
-£34.04 if you work an optional 6th day 
- £25.53 for overtime (anything over 48 hours)
- Flexible shift days and times options available
- Earliest start time of 06:00am 

You will be responsible for delivering goods to customers premises with the assistance of a driver's mate.
Duties of a Class 2 Driver:
- Delivering a variety of products to customers’ addresses, which have already been pre-loaded to vehicle
- Building good relationships with customers upon delivery
- Ensuring safety of vehicle with the assistance of your drivers’ mate
-Ensuring you stick to the pre-planned routes given to you when you start shift
-Ensuring drivers mate has correct ETA information to call customers ahead of arrival
-Maximum package weight 30kg
 
Requirements for this Class 2 HGV Role:
- Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)
- HGV Class 2 Licence with 2 years' experience of driving
- CPC card and Digital Tacho Card
