Youth Development Worker – Temporary Contract
Location: Plymouth
Pay: £14.82 per hour
Hours: 37 per week (four-week rolling rota)
Contract until: February 2026 (possible extension)

- Help young people attend appointments and access key services.
- Review and update risk assessments and support plans.
- Run engaging group sessions and community activities.
- Work closely with other professionals to provide joined-up support.
You’ll be creative, empathetic, and able to adapt your approach to meet each person’s needs. You’ll enjoy working independently, managing your own caseload, and seeing the positive impact of your support.
What you’ll need:
- Experience working with young people in a support or development role.
- Understanding of safeguarding and mental health awareness.
- Confidence in risk assessing and planning support.
- A proactive, flexible, and resilient attitude.
