This position, starting in September 2025 and extending through Easter 2026, offers the chance to inspire students and develop their appreciation for language, literature, and effective communication.

The Role:
As a Supply English Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality English education within a supportive secondary school environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Inspiring a love of literature, language, and writing through creative and inclusive teaching methods
- Assessing students' progress and providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages discussion and independent thought
- Working collaboratively with other English teachers and school staff to enrich the curriculum and share best practice

Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:
- Proven experience as an English Teacher with a strong commitment to student development
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents
- The ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit diverse learning styles and needs
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching certification
