Job Description
Are you an experienced and passionate Class Teacher looking for a rewarding new role? A welcoming special school in North Solihull is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join their team, teaching pupils with a range of additional learning needs. As a Class Teacher in this setting, you will deliver engaging, creative, and tailored lessons to small classes, ensuring that all pupils can access learning and make progress. The pupils you will support have a range of special educational needs, and you will work closely with an experienced team of teaching assistants, therapists, and leaders to provide a nurturing and positive learning environment. The role requires a teacher with strong classroom management skills, empathy, and a commitment to making a difference in pupils’ lives.
Job role:
- Planning and delivering creative and differentiated lessons for pupils with additional learning needs.
- Leading a small class with the support of experienced teaching assistants.
- Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
- Creating a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
