Class Teacher – Primary – Complex Learning Needs
This Ofsted Good SEND school in East Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Class Teacher to join their dedicated team. As a Class Teacher in this school, you will lead classes of just 6–8 pupils, each supported by a minimum of two experienced Teaching Assistants. With outstanding resources, welcoming classrooms, and a strong emphasis on teamwork, you will be empowered to deliver creative, personalised learning that helps every child succeed. Pupils benefit from a calm, structured environment with good behaviour and a nurturing ethos.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with complex learning needs.
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants to ensure consistent support and a collaborative approach.
• Using a range of teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and external professionals.
• Promoting independence, confidence, and personal growth in all learners.

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS and experience teaching in a primary or SEND setting.
• A creative and flexible approach to teaching.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs.
