The Role
You’ll teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with responsibilities including lesson planning, assessment, and preparing students for GCSEs. The department encourages creativity and independent thinking, and you'll have the chance to contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular literacy initiatives. The school is well-resourced, and classrooms are equipped to support dynamic and engaging lessons.
The Candidate
You’ll need to be a qualified English teacher (QTS or equivalent), with recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools. Strong subject knowledge, good classroom management, and a clear passion for language and literature are essential.
