The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Sandwell from September 2025. The role involves teaching English across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love of literature and language. This long-term supply position offers stability, the chance to contribute fully to the department, and the opportunity to support pupils in achieving strong outcomes at GCSE.
The Candidate
The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers. You must hold QTS (or be working towards it) and have recent experience of teaching English in a UK secondary setting. A strong command of the curriculum, excellent classroom management, and the ability to differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners are essential. Enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine commitment to pupil progress will set you apart.
