The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Drama Teacher to join a Good-rated secondary school in Staffordshire from November 2025. This full-time, long-term role involves delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students’ confidence, collaboration, and performance skills.
 
You’ll take full classroom responsibilities, including planning, delivering, and assessing a rich Drama curriculum that encourages creativity, self-expression, and teamwork. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to support extracurricular performances and contribute to the school’s thriving arts community.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an energetic and passionate Drama specialist who can motivate and inspire students of all abilities. You should be:
  • A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed)
  • Experienced in teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4
  • Skilled at building students’ confidence in performance and communication
  • Creative, organised, and adaptable with excellent classroom management
  • A collaborative team player who values the performing arts as part of a well-rounded education
