The Role
We’re seeking a dedicated and energetic Female PE Teacher to join a Good-rated secondary school in Birmingham from January 2026. This full-time, long-term supply role involves delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.
You’ll plan and lead a variety of practical lessons, from core sports to health and wellbeing activities, ensuring all students are supported and challenged. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to extra-curricular sport, fixtures, and school events.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and organised PE specialist who can motivate students of all abilities. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs are welcome)
- Experienced in teaching PE across KS3 and KS4
- Committed to fostering participation, resilience, and a positive sporting culture
- Confident in delivering a broad PE curriculum and managing practical lessons safely
- Enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of the school
