The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a Good-rated secondary school in Walsall from November 2025. This long-term supply role involves teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
You’ll take full classroom responsibilities, including planning, teaching, marking, and assessment, within a collaborative and well-resourced Science department. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students’ progress and preparing them for GCSE success.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an energetic and committed Science specialist who can motivate and inspire students of all abilities. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs welcome)
- Experienced in teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
- Confident in delivering practical and theoretical lessons that bring the subject to life
- Passionate about developing scientific literacy and curiosity
- Organised, adaptable, and a strong classroom practitioner
