Warehouse Operative

Full time ongoing day shift warehouse positions in Thatcham. 11am start time. Flexible working to suit your needs!

The benefits you can expect for working with us include: 

Basic Rate: Monday to Friday £12.73 per hour 

Weekend Rate: Saturday and Sunday & Bank Holidays £13.82 per hour

• Premium Rates paid over 40 hours at 10% extra 

• Premium Rates paid for weekends at 10% extra 

• Regular overtime in peak periods 

• Full time hours available   

• 10am/11am shift start times (Extended hours over December peak)

As a Warehouse Operative you will be: 

• Picking food products using a top voice pick system for a well-known supermarket  

• Working in a chilled and ambient environment  

• Breaking down and allocating goods  

• Achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager  

• Other duties which may include heavy lifting  

 

The ideal Warehouse Operative will have the following skills and experience: 

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided 

• Must have a good attention to detail  

• Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable 

• Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines 

• Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
