Senior Social Worker - UASC and 16+ Pathways Team
£32.66 per hour
West Midlands
37 hours p/w, 1 day in the office

About the role:
Cases for unaccompanied asylum seekers, placed predominantly in the West Midlands. Working with 16+ young people, living predominantly in the Shropshire area, but there can be distance driving.
Recording is essential and keeping within timescales, good assessment skills and analysis.
Conflict resolution, working with vulnerable and dysregulated teenagers, who have been through trauma and negative lived experience.
CSE knowledge and skills
Return home interviews, building a positive and trusting relationship with the young person.
Preparation for supervision, and ensuring supervision is prioritised. Reflection and feedback, seeking direction as and when required. 

What you need:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Registered with Social Work England
• At least 3 years PQE direct employment within English Local Authorities
• Completed relevant post-qualifying training
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and written skills
