Day and Night Security Officer

Shift Pattern: Varied shifts (5 over 7), including 12-hour night shifts on a rotational basis or 4 on 4 off or Days and Nights 
We’re seeking a Security Officer for a Prestigious building in Central London.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily security operations, ensuring the safety of customers, staff, and property, while maintaining the highest standards of service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all security team activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and management on security-related matters
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify and address potential threats
• Ensure all incidents are escalated and recorded accurately, following established procedures
• Oversee the operation of security systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, PA systems, VMS, Intruder/Panic Alarms, BMS, ANPR, radios, and phones
• Implement emergency procedures in line with the site’s Incident and Emergency Plan
• Carry out regular patrols to maintain site security
• Work collaboratively with other departments to maintain comprehensive site security
• Proactively address operational challenges to ensure smooth, effective operations

About You:

• Eligible to work in the UK
• Proven experience in a supervisory security role
• SIA Security License
• Standard DBS desirable 
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to challenges
• Physically fit — this role involves regular walking and active patrols
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to upholding high standards of safety and professionalism
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance
