*** Psychology Graduate Academic Mentor
*** September 2025 – July 2026
*** £85 - £100 per day
*** ‘Good’ Secondary School, Bilston
*** 1:1 and small group support for students with Autism

The Role
You’ll provide focused support to pupils with autism across KS3 and KS4. That includes in-class assistance, mentoring sessions and small group interventions targeting communication, emotional regulation, and confidence. Your work will directly help these students stay engaged, make progress, and thrive in school.

You’ll also liaise with SENCOs, class teachers and parents to track impact and adapt support where needed.

The Candidate
You’ll need empathy, good instincts, and a clear interest in supporting neurodiverse learners. A psychology or related degree is essential. Any practical experience—working with children, in schools, or with SEN—is a bonus but not required. You’ll get training and guidance on the job.

The School
This is a welcoming, inclusive secondary school that takes SEN support seriously. Staff here are experienced, collaborative and student-focused. The school offers structure, resources and clear expectations—ideal for a graduate starting out in education or child development.

Great preparation for careers in teaching, psychology, therapy or youth work.
